Practical treatment guidelines on war wounds from EWMA

Date: 19 April 2022

We would like to share the latest contribution from the EWMA organization which has been developing practically oriented documents and recommendations for people treating wounds as an effect of the current war in Ukraine (both HCPs and non-HCPs) throughout the last month.

The recommendations have been developed by a select group with experience in wound management from war, crisis and emergency aid contexts. The chosen guidelines are thus not based on a broad consensus. EWMA has also added relevant resources from other organizations and platforms.

They are also producing recommendations and translating as much as possible into both Ukrainian and Russian and the website is therefore under continued development.

Please join us in sharing these guidelines throughout the medical community.
